  19. The Vampire Empire trilogy by Clay and Susan Griffith. It's futuristic steampunk, and really, really well-written. Yes, there's a romance between a human and a vampire, but the relationship is sweet and progresses believably (and not a sparkle to be found!).

  37. I’m not sure what you like but if you like fantasy type,” The Crimson League (The Herezoth Trilogy)”, by Victoria Grefer turned out to be really very good. I wasn’t expecting it to be nearly as good as it was but when I read it, I was so surprised as it turned out to be completely brilliant as she brought an entire world to life. Also, if you like fairy tale twisty types, Unenchanted by Chanda Hahn was really good and quite cute (and I think it’s free on Amazon right now, or at least it was when I left a review a few days ago).
