Getting Ready for Nanowrimo

Participant 180x180 (2)
I've just signed myself up to do Nanowrimo again this year - where you write 50,000 words in 30 days in November.  I can feel the thrill and anticiption.  And the fear.  I'm not sure what to write this year...

So far, I have always written by the seat of my pants without much of a plan.  I may change that up a bit this year.  I met with a friend last night who has a complete outline in a chart and a binder with sticky notes.  Hmmm.  That could be good too.  How do you write?  What's your best Nano advice?

Is anyone else out there writing.  Do you want to connect as writing buddies?  I'm Namaste.

I'm including my favourite Nano YouTube video song just for fun.  It still cracks me up.

  1. Nanowrimo...the truest form of mental torture. But in a good way of course. :) I did it two years ago and learned a ton about myself as a writer. It sounds like you have done it before. I wish you the best of luck!!!

  2. Thanks. I've done it a few times. It's fun and I live the sense of adventure and comradery.

  3. Wow--good for you for taking on the NaNoWriMo challenge! I would love to do it one year, but high school and now college mid-terms in early December make dedicating November to writing (what a dream come true) basically impossible. Good luck!

    1. You'll get there. They also have Camp Nano in June and August now...

I really appreciate your comments.
